21st Thursday  fine weather for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.

22nd Friday  A fine day for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick  Moses Bliss was buried Elder Button preached.

23rd Saturday  a fine day  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out  Mrs Stone came & stayed all night.

24th Sunday  A fine day but cold cloudy night & stormed a little  I did my choars was at the house all day about sick with the cold & rheumatism went to the office in evening came back & called at Blisses & see Mrs Lewis came home wrote some & went to bed about 9 sick.

25th Monday  rather fine for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.

26th Tuesday  fine weather for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc.

27th Wednesday  fine weather for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick [in margin] no snow on ground.”

10th Wednesday  rather a fine hot day but cloudy in morning  I did my choars was at the office all day & in the evening came home about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick  Sam Wright & Emma Graves were married this evening at Aurora by Elder Button.

11th Thursday  last day of the fair  A cloudy morning & a fine day I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.

12th Friday  cloud in morning a fine day  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ went to bed at 9 ½ tiard lonely & nearly sick with a cold.

13th Saturday  T Westcott got a Jerrys  A cloudy morning & fine day I did my choars was at the office all day evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick G Sidwell came to Winfield & stayed.

14th Sunday  A fine pleasant day & evening  I did my choars churned choared round the house  picked some apples etc went to the store towards night did my choars & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold G Sidwell came while I was a eating breckfust, he was sick He came from Mrs Holmes yesterday & stayed at Winfield R Willson & Caroline went to H Goulds  R B Pollard 4th child & second daughter was born this morning.

15th Monday  rather a fine day & evening  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ tiard lonely & sick.

16th Tuesday  rather fine weather  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.”
