14th Thursday  cloudy & damp weather  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick Gould here.

15th Friday  rather more pleasant  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out with trouble.

16th Saturday  rather a fine warm day  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & worne out with trouble  Mrs Stone went to C Owens in evening.

17th Sunday  A fine warm pleasant day  cool towards night  I did my choars, was at home the most of the day went to the office twice & in the evening came back & went to bed about 9 sick & tiard  Mrs. Stone was at Owens & Raynolds.

18th Monday  rather fine weather but cool  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & nearly worne out with trouble.

19th Tuesday  rather fine but cool  I did my choars was at the office all day & came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worn out with Sister.

20th Wednesday  A fine cool day  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick & worne out with trouble.”

January 1st Wednesday  fine weather for Jan. I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 7 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick  Mrs Stone went to C Owens to New Years & got home about 12 at night.

2nd Thursday  A fine day  I did my choars was at the office all day & came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & discouraged.

3rd Friday  some stormey  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & discouraged.

4th Saturday  rather a fine day & thaws  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.

5th Sunday  A fine pleasant warm day but clouded up at night & rained in the evening  I did my choars was round home the most of the day went to the office 3 times came home & went to bed at 9 Gould & wife came here & went home about 4 the came about noon  Rol Willson called with them & stayed about an hour & left.

6th Monday  fine weather for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.

7th Tuesday  fine weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ worne out with trouble.”

3rd Wednesday  A cloudy damp day with showers  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 nearly worn out with trouble.

4th Thursday rather a warm day & cloudy not verry fine for the 4th I did my choars was at the office came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 nearly sick [in margin] a still Fourth.

5th Friday  rather a cloudy showerey day I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 sick & worn out with trouble.

6th Saturday  rather a fine day  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ and went to bed at 10 sick & sorrowful.

7th Sunday  rather a fine cool day with some clouds  I did my choars was at the office about 9, came home choared round the house was about sick & went to bed about 10 & lay till near 2, fixed fence some etc  Sister was verry troublesome, Caroline called & eat supper, Mrs Stone went to C Owens  I did my choars & went to bed about 9 sick.

8th Monday  rather fine growing weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed about 10 nearly sick & worn out.

9th Tuesday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 nearly sick & worn out [in margin] Patterson & Estes came here.”
