Congratulations to the graduates of 2017! #Celebrating50

School is out and summer has arrived! The Historical Society would like to congratulate all of our local students on finishing the school year and especially those who graduated!

As we do that and welcome summer, we also look back to the graduates of 1967. The graduates of that historic year when Warrenville voted to incorporate, were highlighted in the Warrenville Digest on this day 50 years ago.

Happy Easter, Memories from Easter 1967 #Celebrating50

As we head into the Easter holiday weekend, we continue looking back on 1967, the year the City incorporated 50 years ago. These Easter celebrations were captured in the Warrenville Digest during March of 1967.

The Museum will be closed this Sunday to allow our staff and volunteers to enjoy the holiday with their families, but please enjoy this bit of history as we celebrate the spring season, Easter and the City’s 50th! #Celebrating50

The line-up begins as Warrenville youngsters get ready for the Easter Egg hunt held on the VFW grounds. 80 dozen eggs were dyed by members and hidden.
