Hiram E. Leonard Diary, June 5 – 11, 1867

5th Wednesday  A hot day  thurmometer at 94  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a cold.

6th Thursday  A fine hot day  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a  cold.

7th Friday  A hot growing day  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a cold.

8th Saturday  A fine hot day & night  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 tiard & nearly sick with a cold.

9th Sunday A fine hot day & night  I did my choars went to the store & back choared round, went to H B Fowlers about 11 & soon came back choared round the rest of the day & went to bed about 9 tiard & nearly sick, went to Naperville with H B Fowler to see a new docter.

10th Monday fine hot growing weather  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 nearly sick & worne out.

11th Tuesday  fine growing weather & getting dry  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 10 tiard out & sick.”
