Hiram E. Leonard Diary, November 7 – 13, 1866

7th Wednesday  rather fine weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.

8th Thursday  rather a cloudy day  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.

9th Friday  rather a cloudy day   I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick & lonely.

10th Saturday A cloudy damp day & rained some, I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.

11th Sunday  rather a cool cloudy damp day  I did my choars choared round the house the most of the day went to the office 3 times fixed my hen house etc went to bed at 9 Sherman & Rol Willson & family eat supper [in margin] Sherman & family eat here.

12th Monday  rather a fine day & evening  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick heifer went to bull.

13th Tuesday  rather fine weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick H P Rodgers went home with his wife.”
