Hiram E. Leonard Diary, June 17 – 23, 1863

17th Wednesday  rather fine warm weather & pretty dry. I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.

18th Thursday  fine dry weather but more cool. I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.

19th Friday  A fine cool dry day & night. I did my choars was at the office all day & evening went to dental lecture came home about 11 & went to bed soon after nearly sick.

20th Saturday  rather a cool cloudy day, I did my choars was at the office all day & in the evening came home at 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.

21st Sunday  rather a cool cloudy showery or squally day & evening. I did my choars choared round till noon then went to Hoyts & the office came home & choared round hoed some and planted some cucumber seed called at Hoyts came home at 9 & went to bed nearly sick.

22nd Monday  fine warm dry weather a getting verry dry. I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home at about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick.

23rd Tuesday  rather a fine day & evening but dry & hot, I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick.”
