8th Annual Summer Tea and Scholarship Fundraiser a big success!

Thank you to everyone who came out this past Saturday to attend our 8th Annual Summer Tea and Scholarship Fundraiser!  It was a wonderful day and a great showing of support for our organization.  Once again, the Tea Ladies from Bloomington gave a wonderful presentation.  Dressed in Victorian styles, they told us all about the “Outrageous Etiquette” of that time period.  We were also glad to have our 2012 Scholarship winner, Ellen Seiberlich, present for the occasion.

A big thank you goes out to Connie Weimer and Nancy Olufs who organize this wonderful event each year!  These fabulous ladies do an amazing job and our scholarship could not be possible without them!  Thank you also to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success, including the Museum Guild, and Lucy Hawke and Jenny Lund who worked with our youth volunteer servers.  Thank you to the City of Warrenville who generously support this event through a Hotel-Motel Tax Grant.
