Hiram E. Leonard Diary, July 26, 1862

26th Saturday  A fine hot day but cool evenings.  A good week for haying & the first hay weather we have had this summer.  I did my choars was at the office all day & in the evening came home about ¼ to 10 & soon went to bed tiard & nearly sick, discouraged & downhearted and the horrers verry bad.”
