Hiram E. Leonard Diary, July 19, 1862

19th Saturday  A cloudy bad day & rained several times.  A cloudy damp night.  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home about ½ past 9, left Col Warren & F Wellman on the steps got home about 10 minutes before 10 & soon went to bed tiard & about sick.  It has rained some every day or night for the past week & some of the time both day & night a Friday night it rained tremenduously hard the most of the night a verry wet week.  C Noonen & I got mad this afternoon at the store.  H McNelly was sick, came home last night sick.”
