Hiram E. Leonard Diary, May 4, 1862

4th Sunday  rather a fine warm day & evening.  I did my choars was at home the most of the day a choaring sewed some hay seed went to the office 3 times & to Hoyts in evening came home about 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick.  Gary called today a while David McNelly & Hannah came to Wrays about 12 & he went home in afternoon & left her at Wrays I slep in the bedroom for first time since last fall.”
