On March 3rd, pieces from the Warrenville Historical Society’s collection will be displayed at “Beautiful Brides: 130 Years of Wedding Fashions & Traditions” in honor of the 130th Anniversary of the historical Trinity Episcopal Chapel in Wheaton.  To celebrate, area museums and residents are lending historical wedding gowns and accessories for display.  For more information see http://beautifulbrides.eventbrite.com.   Pictured are three pairs of shoes worn by local women during their weddings, including the shoes worn by Helen Ruzika at her wedding to Ed Ruzika in 1925 at St. Irene’s Church.  They were purchased at Charles Stevens’ for $14.50.
