Hiram E. Leonard Diary, January 5, 1862

5th Sunday  rather a cold cloudy morning & day & evening ground covered with snow.  I did my choars was at home the most of the day called at office twice in morning & then stayed with Sister while Mrs. Sprague & Eliza went home.  Mrs. Bliss came & stayed a while.  I called at Hoyts & Wrays in evening came home about   & went to bed as usual on lounge about sick.”
