Hiram E. Leonard Diary, December 29, 1861

29th Sunday  A most beautiful pleasant day.  I did my choars was at Wrays about 9 & he went with me into my timber & got back about 11.  I choared round & fixed my meet etc wrote some called at the office in evening & Hoyts & Wrays came home about 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick.  Mrs. Bliss was over here 2 or 3 hours & talked of moving Sister over to her house, came over in evening & could not get sister to go to her house, Blisses Knox, his wife & a lot of children & youth were here.  I did not go away but went to bed about 9 on lounge had a bad night of it.”
