Hiram E. Leonard Diary, December 8, 1861

8th Sunday  A cloudy damp muddy disagreeable day.  I did my choars choared round the house in forenoon wrote & red some was at home the most of the day, went to the store, called at Hoyts & Wrays, came home about 8 & went to bed on the lounge about 9 tiard & sick wore out with Sister [in margin] Couch child born.”
