Hiram E. Leonard Diary, December 7, 1861

7th Saturday  A cloudy damp day & rained conciderable was verry muddy.  I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home by Hoyts about 20 minutes to 8 called at Wrays a few minutes & got home about 20 minutes to 9.  H. Wyman was a playing ucre with them.  I went to bed a little after 9 tiard & nearly sick, Lay on lounge, Simeon Billings wife had a son born today weighing 11 -3/4#”
