Hiram E. Leonard Diary, November 30, 1861

30th Saturday  rather a fine morning & day till after noon when it began to snow about 8, brook away towards night but snowed a little during the evening, I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home by Hoyts about 8 and got home about ½ past 8, & went to bed on the lounge about 10 nearly sick was up about half the night with Sister, She had a verry bad night with a kind of cholera morbus & disentary.  David McNelly came over & brought home Caroline, got here between 2 & 3.  Wm Wray got through huskin corn this afternoon Eliza came over with David.”
