Tonight! 4th Annual Cemetery Walk

The 4th Annual Warrenville Cemetery Walk will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011. Presented by the Warrenville Historical Society, residents and history lovers alike are invited to join us for Dead Man Talking & Some Women IV. Luminaries will light the way to lantern-lit gravesites where costumed interpreters will tell the stories of Warrenville citizens who lived 150 years ago in 1861, during the tumultuous first year of the American Civil War.
Tours will kick off at 5:00 pm in Trinity Lutheran Church with a presentation by the interpreters for those who do not wish to walk through the cemetery.

At 6:00 p.m., outside 45 minute tours will start every 20 minutes, with the last tour beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tours begin at the Warrenville Cemetery, on the north side of Warrenville Road between Curtis and Warren. Reservations can be made for groups leaving every 20 minutes between 6:00p.m. and 7:30p.m. For reservations, please call the Historical Society at 630.393.4215 or email at Walk-up groups without reservations are welcome and will tour on a first come first serve basis.
