Hiram E. Leonard Diary, June 22, 1861

22nd Saturday  rather a fine day & evening I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home about 9 by Wrays & Hoyts came home & went to bed about 10 nearly sick.  The Stage tiped over by the Methodist meeting house & hurt C Smiths sister pretty bad & several more conciderable the tung of the stage broak which caused it to happen  J B Pollard came from Winfield with D. McKee about noon he looked bad & was sick after getting home & had the doctor.”
