Hiram E. Leonard Diary, June 17, 1861

17th Monday a pretty fine day. I did my choars was at the office all day & evening came home about 9 & went to bed about 10. Griffeth worked on my house. J. B Pollard went to Batavia with his father & came home pretty tight & he went to Naperville with J. Billings & Dan Jones in evening & got home about 3 tomorrow pretty tight M D Williams & a Daper went down after him but did not get him & came home without him.”
